ConvertXtoDVD - утилита, очень практичная и удобная в применении, её назначение это конвертирование видео в формат, поддерживаемый DVD Video, после чего программа сама способна произвести запись содержимого на диск. ConvertXtoDVD умеет работать с самыми популярными видеофайлами VOB, AVI, Mpeg, DV, MP4, Xvid, Mpeg4, MOV, WMV, DivX, а также обрабатывать потоковое видео. Для полнофункциональной работы не используются внешние AVI-кодеки, в ней присутствуют свои собственные. При желании для DVD есть возможность создания несложного и простого меню, в котором можно выбрать понравившийся фон, его цвет и другое.
